SEUM advised LX INTERNATIONAL CORP. (“LXI”) in its investment and strategic partnership transaction with drone solution and service startup PABLO AIR Co., Ltd. (“Pablo Air”).

LXI changed its name from LG International in June 2021 and is accelerating the movement for new businesses and business diversification due to its active involvement in discovering and investing in high-capacity startups to develop promising new business models in the 4th Industrial Revolution and nurture growing businesses.

Pablo Air has attracted worldwide attention for its applications of drone technology that go beyond the mere provision of human convenience, including drone art shows, image processing and artificial intelligence technology solutions, and environment reporting. In recognition of Pablo Air’s technology, Pablo Air was able to achieve an aggregate investment of KRW 15.5 billion within 3 years of its incorporation. 

Through its investment in, and business partnerships with, Pablo Air, LXI plans to develop various joint projects, such as domestic and foreign drone demonstration projects and joint development of mobility platforms, commercialization of drone control systems domestically and abroad, and expansion of sales of eco-friendly drones.

SEUM’s advice throughout the transaction, allowed LXI to smoothly consummate its strategic investment in Pablo Air.
