SEUM Advises Alpha Vista Investment in its investment in the vegan cosmetic brand Dear Dahlia.

SEUM advised Alpha Vista Investment, a private equity firm, in its investment in Dear Dahlia, a Korean luxury vegan beauty brand, operated by Baram International. In this Series B financing of Dear Dahlia, in addition to Alpha Vista Investment, Quad Asset Management, LB Investment, and SBI Investment, who were the existing investors, along with JS Corporation, Kolmar Korea, Maple Investment Partners, and Marker Apparel joined the investment round.  

Alpha Vista Investment is a private equity fund that has received a lot of attention in Korea from its acquisition of the sports apparel brand, “Spider”. It has been steadily growing its presence in the investment, finance, and corporate investment sector with a broad investment portfolio, including investment in the Series B financing of an online and mobile education platform, “Studysenior”.

Dear Dahlia established itself as a vegan cosmetics brand which is an unfamiliar type of cosmetics in the Korean market through emphasis of its patented key ingredient, dahlia flower, and quickly grew in popularity through luxurious packaging. The brand has risen to the level of international luxury brands and currently is distributed from the finest department stores and boutique stores in and outside Korea, including Galeries Lafayette in Paris, France which has a history of 120 years, and has gained recognition as a global luxury cosmetics brand in a short period of time. 

SEUM advised Alpha Vista Investment in its investment in Baram International, the operating company of Dear Dahlia.
