It is accelerating the research and development efforts in partnership with Hyundai Motor Group, Hyundai Mobis, and LG Electronics among others. StradVision focuses on technology specializing in autonomous vehicles and has secured international technological competitiveness with about 200 international patents and 700 domestic patents. StradVision generates more than half of its revenue from international sales and it has become so renowned for its technological prowess that it established a branch in Munich, Germany, a reputable country for the automobile industry.

This was the first time ZF Friedrichshafen AG, one of the top car part manufacturers in the world, invested in a Korean startup, and it served as an opportunity to prove that StradVision’s camera perception technology for autonomous vehicles is highly valued in the global market.

Followed by the Series C financing from ZF, Aptiv Technologies Ltd., a US car part manufacturer, joined in the next round of financing. In this round of financing, the total investment amount reached KRW 57 billion.

Not only is StradVision recognized for its unrivaled position in its field in dominating the overseas and domestic markets with its expertise, but it is also no exaggeration to state that they are taking unprecedented steps in the autonomous driving industry.
