SEUM advised Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) on its equity investment in Funzin Co. LTd.

KAI invested in Funzin, an AI technology company founded in 2006, to form a strategic partnership and enhance its AI pilot and software development capabilities for next-generation air combat systems. Funzin specializes in AI technologies such as big data analytics and IoT and has expanded into robot mobility and defense AI.

Through this investment, KAI aims to develop AI pilot-based unmanned aerial platforms, including multipurpose UAVs and unmanned fighter aircraft, as part of its next-generation air combat system (NACS). Additionally, leveraging Funzin’s expertise in KWM (Kill Web Matching), Korea’s only practical AI staff technology, KAI expects to accelerate the advancement of its AI pilots and air combat AI systems.
