SEUM advised Mobilint, a fabless AI semiconductor company developing neural processing units (NPUs), on its KRW 70 billion Series C funding.

In April 2026, SEUM provided legal advisory services to Mobilint, Inc. ("Mobilint"), an AI semiconductor startup, in connection with its KRW 70 billion Series C funding round. The round attracted participation from major domestic venture capital firms and investment institutions, including Praxis Capital Partners, POSCO Technology Investment, and Company K Partners.

Mobilint is a fabless semiconductor company specializing in neural processing units (NPUs). Based on its proprietary AI accelerator chip "ARIES" and AI SoC "REGULUS," Mobilint is targeting the edge AI market, and is the only Korean company with high-performance NPU technology capable of running large language models (LLMs) in edge environments. This combination of high-performance, low-power AI semiconductor technology and real-world applicability appears to have been a key factor behind the investment decision.

Mobilint's CEO said the company plans to use the funding to advance its next-generation NPU architecture, expand its mass production and supply systems, accelerate its entry into global markets, and grow its NPU-centered ecosystem. The CEO added that through these efforts, Mobilint aims to strengthen its full-stack competitiveness — spanning AI semiconductor design, software, and solutions — and rapidly expand its presence in the global market.

Drawing on its understanding of startups and extensive experience in investment advisory, SEUM provided tailored legal services to ensure the entire Series C funding process for Mobilint proceeded smoothly.
