SEUM advised 22nd Century Media Co., operator of blockchain media outlet CoinDesk Korea in the issuance of a non-fungible token (NFT) for the famous Round 4 where 9 dan ranked professional Go player Lee Sedol was victorious against AlphaGo, an AI program developed by Google DeepMind.
The Round 4 NFT issued by Lee Sedol expresses in text and coordinate format the order and location of all the stones laid at the game held on March 13, 2016, often referred to as the ‘Battle of the Century’, which captures the only moment a human was victorious against an AI.
22nd Century Media Co. and leading global media outlet CoinDesk based in New York issue the “CoinDesk Korea”. 22nd Century Media Co. has had a long standing partnership with CoinDesk, including its participation in the annual Consensus conference hosted by CoinDesk in New York.
