SEUM Selected as a Leading M&A Firm for Six Consecutive Years in 'IFLR1000 2023'

SEUM Law(hereinafter referred to as ‘SEUM’) has been selected as an 'Other Notable' firm in the M&A field for the sixth consecutive year in the ‘IFLR1000’, published by the International Financial Law Review (IFLR), a global guide to financial and corporate law firms(Link).

The IFLR1000 is the only international legal guide that selects outstanding law firms and lawyers based on financial and corporate transaction work. Since 1990, it has been evaluating and publishing rankings in various fields to advance the legal market. This year’s outstanding firms and lawyers were selected based on: 1) a review of the complexity and innovation of legal advisory work conducted within the past year, along with related news and publications; 2) verification through client evaluations, and 3) feedback and interviews with industry peers.

During the research period, the firm continued to be active in the corporate space. The firm was preoccupied with domestic public and private acquisitions. Active industry sectors including technology and telecommunications, healthcare, industrials and manufacturing, transport, food and beverage, media, fashion, pharmaceuticals and life sciences. Apart from regularly advising on corporate registration matters, the firm was also active in the blockchain/cryptocurrency field.

Attorney Seungkyu Byun was named a ‘Rising Star Partner’ in the Corporate and M&A field for the second consecutive year, and Attorney Jungok Yun was recognized as a notable practitioner in the M&A field.
