SEUM Law Successfully Hosts Client Appreciation Event “2024 Night That Moves the World (SEUM Night)”
On Thursday, December 5, SEUM Law held its client appreciation and networking event, “2024 Night That Moves the World” (SEUM Night), inviting client companies that have grown alongside SEUM. This event, SEUM’s first client appreciation event in nine years since the “SEUM Networking Party” in 2015, was attended by over 120 participants from various sectors, including major investment firms, large corporations, IT companies, and startups.
The event began with a welcoming speech by Attorney Hoseok Jung, titled “13 Years of Moving the World with SEUM.” Attorney Jung reflected on SEUM’s journey, revisited accomplishments achieved with its clients, and expressed gratitude for their support.
The first special lecture was delivered by Jungwon Lee, CEO of ICTK, a long-standing SEUM client that successfully listed on KOSDAQ through a technology-based IPO in July 2024. In his lecture, titled “The Journey to IPO for a Tech Company,” Lee shared his experiences of navigating failures and challenges over a decade as a tech entrepreneur, how he prepared for an IPO, and the steps and strategies employed to manage and grow a tech company.
The second special lecture was delivered by Dongmin Lim, CEO of Indy Econ Research, under the theme “Trump 2.0 – The Dawn of Neo-Capitalism.” As an expert in economic analysis and forecasting, Lim offered insights into the anticipated global economic trends for 2025 and provided practical strategies for business management in alignment with these trends.
Following the lectures, a dinner and networking session allowed attendees to engage in meaningful conversations. The event culminated with an investor panel discussion, one of the most anticipated sessions of the evening. Moderated by Attorney Hoseok Jung, the panel featured key representatives from major investment firms, including Jaewoong Choi (Executive Vice President, FuturePlay), Sungwook Hong (Partner, Hashed), and Youngsoo Ha (Director, Crossroad Partners). The panelists provided insightful answers to questions such as the “2024 Investment Market Outlook,” “Key Considerations for Corporate Investment,” and “Projections for the Investment Industry in 2025.”
Attendees concluded the evening by networking freely, exchanging ideas, discussing investment and partnership opportunities, and sharing business cards.
As the event concluded, SEUM expressed its gratitude to all attendees with gifts, including bestselling products from TwoSlashFour, a K-beauty brand operated by Korea’s leading influencer Risabae, premium highballs from the KABREW brand, and Cheongmyeongju sets for sharing meaningful moments.
