Promotion Announcement of Attorneys Heeho Lee and Dohyung Han to Partner
In April 2025, SEUM is pleased to announce the promotion of Attorneys Heeho Lee and Dohyung Han—both long-standing members of the firm—to Partners.
Heeho Lee, a graduate of Seoul National University School of Law (LL.B.) and Sungkyunkwan University Law School (J.D.), passed the 5th Korean Bar Examination and began his legal career at Apex LLC and Shin & Yoo Law Office before joining SEUM Law in 2021. Since then, he has played a central role in a broad range of civil and criminal litigation matters, representing clients across diverse industries including startups, IT companies, manufacturers, public agencies, and e-commerce/platform businesses. He has led complex disputes involving corporate control, intellectual property infringement, and white-collar crime. As Partner, Attorney Lee will continue to lead litigation and dispute resolution matters for startups, IT companies, large corporations, manufacturing companies, and public institutions.
Dohyung Han, also a graduate of Seoul National University (LL.B.) and Sungkyunkwan University Law School (J.D.), passed the 4th Korean Bar Examination and completed his public service as a legal officer at the Korea Legal Aid Corporation and the Human Rights Bureau of the Ministry of Justice. He joined SEUM in 2021 and has since focused on providing legal advice on investments, M&A, and general corporate matters for startups, IT companies, and various enterprises. He has also provided specialized legal services to government agencies, public institutions, and clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare sectors. As Partner, Attorney Han will leverage his extensive experience to lead SEUM’s advisory services for startups and IT companies, as well as provide expert counsel in his areas of specialty, including public sector advisory, pharmaceutical/biotech/medical institutions, domestic and cross-border investments, M&A, and shareholder disputes.
