SEUM celebrates its 5th anniversary.  It is the first law firm in Korea to focus on startup and technology companies as well as venture capital.  SEUM opened its original office back in 2012 with 3 attorneys and at that time was staffed by only 1 person.  Today the firm has grown to 15 attorneys (including 2 US attorney partners) and over 15 other employees, all working in its new office located in the Gangnam area of Seoul.

For example, its clients include investment funds such as 500 Startups, Legend Capital and Mirae Asset; large corporations such as Hanwha, Naver, CJ E&M and Line; as well as startup companies such as Lezhin Comics, Foodfly, MangoPlate and JobPlanet.  Moreover, SEUM was one of 15 law firms featured in Asian Legal Business's "Firms to Watch" list for 2017. More recently, SEUM has created a Blockchain Team in order to handle increasing work from this rapidly developing industry.
