Hoseok Jung Gives Lecture on Investment Contracts at Futureplay’s TechUP+ Program
On May 14, 2020, SEUM managing partner Hoseok Jung gave a lecture on investment contracts at Mando Mobility TechUP+ event organized by Futureplay, a global technology startup accelerator. The lecture was given online and various startup companies participating in the Mando Mobility TechUP+ Season 2 program attended.
TechUP+ is an open innovation program organized by Futureplay in collaboration with large conglomerates, where startups with innovative technologies are selected and incubated in each industry field. Through the TechUP+ program, Futureplay has been building a collaboration model between large conglomerates and startups since 2016, starting with AmorePacific for the beauty and healthcare industry, and currently includes, Nongshim (foodtech industry), IGIS Asset Management (proptech industry), Mando (mobility industry) and others.
Based on his vast experience in advising various large conglomerates, such as HiteJinro, Shinsegae I&C, and Hyundai Motors, on new business opportunities, and startup incubation and acceleration, Hoseok Jung has been leading the legal part of the TechUP+ program for almost 4 years, both in his capacity as a venture partner and long-term legal advisor of Futureplay.
